Master Diver. For the qualified, dedicated recreational diver who wants to reach the highest non-leadership diver level, this is the Holy Grail. on top of the bill.

One of the highest classifications in diving nowadays is the SSI Master Diver course. You must complete four specialty courses in addition to SSI Stress & Rescue Diver and log at least 50 dives in order to obtain the Master Diver certification.

You could think of yourself as a genuine master diver if you’ve completed the program successfully and combined your knowledge and talents.

SSI Master Diver. The prerequisites.

• Age requirement: 12 years old.
• possess one (1) or more of the following SSI certificates, or their equivalents, from an accredited training organization: Junior Open Water Diver and Open Water Diver, respectively

A stress and rescue diver certification, at least four specialized courses, and at least fifty dives must be completed.

NOTE: The student’s MySSI profile has to have the number of dives submitted.

NOTE: The Master Diver rating may only be earned by completing two (2) specializations from another accredited training organization.

For the student to be eligible for credit, the SSI Dive Center/Resort must submit all non-SSI certificates into MySSI.

SSI Master Diver: Method of Learning.

The Master Diver digital recognition card is immediately given at no cost to the student upon completion of all criteria and when their profile has been updated in MySSI.
