After earning your Open Water Diver certification, you’re eager to advance your knowledge and abilities. There are several options for learning about specialized certificates.
You’re prepared to learn more about various facets of recreational diving. The SSI Advanced Adventurer Diver program is available to you.
The first step in continuing education is the Advanced Adventurer Diver.
If you think you’re truly into diving, it could be time for you to enroll in SSI Continuing Education. The SSI Advanced Adventurer course serves as an excellent introduction to the five SSI Specialty Courses within this framework. One of the best ways to improve your talents and pick up new ones is to do specialties.
The dive training required to be ready for every diving scenario is introduced in the SSI Advanced Adventurer course.
You will be one step closer to your dream dive experience with each specialty program. Our goal is to get you ready for the journey that lies ahead of you and to do it in a way that you truly love.
Advanced Adventurer by SSI. The prerequisites.
- Each Adventure Dive’s minimum age is specified in the program-specific guidelines.
- Parents or guardians must sign for children under the age of 18.
- Obtain a minimum of one of the following SSI certifications, or a comparable credential from an accredited training organization: ( Junior Open Water Diver – Open Water Diver ).

During the course you will have the chance to try out five different specialties. The only compulsory dive is the Deep Dive. This is a menu to choose from to master other courses.

Certification as an SSI Advanced Adventurer.
The Advanced Adventurer digital certification card can be issued by an Open Water Instructor if all academic and in-water criteria have been fulfilled.
Within the approved depth limitations and in settings similar to their training, Certified Advanced Adventurers can dive with a friend who is just as qualified, if not more so.
Pupils under the age of 15 will get a Junior Advanced Adventurer certification, allowing them to dive in settings similar to their training and within the advised depth limitations while being closely supervised by a diving expert or accompanied by a trained adult.
