SSI Open Water Diver

Students who complete the SSI Open Water Diver program gain the skills and information need to dive independently with a friend who is at least as skilled as they are.

Program Specifics:

Open Water Diver Course offered by SSI. The core.

Your unique pass to underwater enjoyment, exploration, and amazement is the SSI Open Water certificate. Like a perpetual pass to the paradise of water.

All over the world, SSI Open Water Diver certification cards are accepted. They allow you to buy or rent equipment, get air fills wherever you want to dive, and dive with other qualified divers.

We teach you the skills you need to dive safely and soundly throughout training sessions. We will help you become a self-assured diver who respects the underwater environment.

We use open water coaching and pool training in our programs. You will have the opportunity to practice all you learnt in the pool by participating in at least four open water dives. You will earn your certification as a diver if you have successfully completed your open water training dives. Your diving adventures will be endless because the SSI Open Water Diver certification is accepted all over the world.

• Age requirement: 10 years old.

Open Water Diver Course offered by SSI. the sessions of training.

• Online SSI training is required. It cuts down on class time.
• In order to pass the Open Water Diver final exam, you must have a minimum score of 80%.
• Finish all skill assessments and pool/confined water sessions.
• Fill out the SSI Training Standards’ Student Water Fitness Evaluation. Before engaging in any open water training dives, participants must finish water fitness assessments.
• Perform a minimum of four (4) scuba open water training dives and finish all skill assessments.
• We descend to a maximum depth of 12 meters on the first two dives and then 18 meters.

Learning Method for the SSI Open Water Diver Course.

Your learning curve is the basis for the SSI course. Depending on your capabilities, daily times may be cut or prolonged. To avoid having you spend the full time with us, we would rather divide the course across many days.
